Let me include a reminder that an Advisory Board was elected during the last meeting.
ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS INCLUDE: 
1. Auntie Anna Secka2. Beran Dondeg Gillen
Beran will be later added to this group to help serve her role with Auntie Anna.

That being said, i would like to allow a Chix take up Assistant Chair role. I would prefer just maintaining my role as ISOC Gambia rep supporting the project and its activities. At this stage, I will now leave it over to you to continue this great team. I will send a separate email on the way forward after this nomination. 

Once an executive team is finalized, i can see 2018 surely starting off with some quite interesting capacity exchange. I encourage active participation in this.

On a separate note, Kevin request he would like to schedule a conference call with all of you next week. So I am reaching to you ALL to know which day and perhaps time will be more favorable to you between Monday 4th to Saturday 9th December.

CALL FOR VOTE TO FILL EXECUTIVE BOARD POSITIONS AT THE GAMCHIX ORGANISATION

One of the urgent action points discussed during our 3rd general meeting on Sunday the 26th of November,2017 was to have a fresh election for the executive board.


In an effort to get the ball rolling at the beginning,a quick nomination and voting was carried out and some of the positions were willing chosen while some were imposed upon members. To avoid any forceful act or lack of duty to service, it was agreed that the positions be listed again and people can nominate individuals and a vote will be carried out for a free and fair election.

However, the acting members names will be listed next to the positions and the members have 48hrs to express interest in maintaining their positions by willingly agreeing to actively take on the position or else step down and another member will be nominated and voted for.


Please note that these will be critical positions therefore we invite members to submit their expression of interest (EOI) for the various roles of the Executive Committee of the organisation.

The Eligible positions are as follows:
Acting Chairperson : Esther KingActing Vice Chairperson: Alagie CeesayActing Secretary: Yaharr NdowActing Assistant Secretary: Oumie SaineActing Treasurer: Fatoumatta B.O. The call for EOI is now open and will be opened until mid-night of 5thDecember, 2017. Each nominated member shall have one(1) vote.
   

Furthermore, It is expected that they will be occupied by individuals who are ready and driven to make GAMCHIX a success.

Voting will be byelectronic vote through this mailing list.

All suggestion on the smoothconduct of the election should be channelled to gamchix at lists.nsrc.org.
