Hello All,
>From what i can understand we need two WGs; one for the UTG one headed by Fatou Secka and the other one will be on the research on safe browing headed by Sally Cham. So please try and associate yourself with one group so that the work can start ASAP.
Think each group can form a whatsap group where you can be discussing more becuase to be meeting phsically all the time will be a problem.

 Dear Sally,
You should suggest time and place. Kindly consider most of us work at different places and hence close at different times. Speedy recovery.

Good Morning Ladies!
Hope you all had a great weekend?
It`s good to see everyone coming on board. That being said, we need to have timelines and actually start working.
@Sally, Kindly co-ordinate your team and let us get your plan latest by Wednesday i.e. Number of people in your WG, how you plan on delivering etc.
@Fatou Secka, i suggest you lead the mentorship program with the UTG Students since you might be in a better position to liaise with Fatou Ceesay more frequently. Therefore, the same applies to your team i.e Number of people in your WG, plan of action etc.
thanks
RegardsEsther

Dear All,
I hope this email finds you all well and are all having a pleasant week thus far?
A big thank you to all those who attended last Sunday`s meeting. I believe it was a very productive meeting and those who could not attend for one reason or another will realize it when the minutes are sent.
During the meeting, one of the major points raised was to start organizing programs/activities that way we can be more "marketable" or accepted by other organizations for future collaborations.
One of the best ways of doing this, as it was mentioned in the meeting, is to organize symposiums, talks,mentor-ship programs. etc. at schools, the University and the like.
Luckily for us, we have amongst us the current president of the UTG-ITCA (Fatou Ceesay) who has informed us that the UTG is having new intakes in the school and she is willing to educate them about GAMCHIX during the orientation. i believe her being a member of both organizations will make this process a seamless one. (see her email below).
@ Fatou Ceesay, you have the green-light to talk to the students about GAMCHIX and what we are about. I can assure you that you have the full support of the group as i am positive that they will all agree with me that it is a good initiative to work with the Computer Science Association of UTG (ITCA).
That being said, i suggest we create a working group(sub-committee under PAC & PRO) that will work with her on this. It will be great to have volunteers to assist with this and make it become a reality as our first project.
A great week-end ahead to you all!
Kind Regards & Best WishesEsther

Thank You Alagie.
I have a reflection on the last GamChix meeting,
Firstly I will like to express my delight for getting to meet most of you at the meeting, was overwhelmed with the readiness the team showed on achieving its objectives and making this year a difference.
I will like to comment on one of the projects or activities Gamchix is planning to embark on as discussed in the meeting;
Mentorship Program: As suggested by someone in the meeting that GamChix should start collaborating with other  tech association in which UTG-ITCA was  mentioned. I think this is a great opportunity for both parties. And am suggesting that Gamchix can start its mentoring exercise with the student in the school of ICT, as we are having new intakes in the school, this could be the first group  GamChix can start mentoring.
To what I have observe and experience as a student at UTG and specifically in the school of ICT, Most of the students that register to student in the school have small or no idea of what they expecting and the different opportunities in the field. This will really be a guidance  for most of  the students.
As the president of the UTG-ITCA  facilitating this wont be a problem, So please lets have this discussed and let me know asap, before  our school orientation which might take place early next week, where I and my executives will be meeting them.
And my sincere apology for not raising this suggestion at the meeting ground. It would have been the best place for it to be discussed.
Warm regards.
