Hello,
You have been subscribed to the mailing list:
nsrc-rwnog16 at lists.nsrc.org
You are receiving this mail as you are registered as a participant for
the 2nd RwandaNOG NMM workshop, taking place next week (Jul 11-15).
Please read this mail all the way to the end!
This is a 5 day, hands-on technical workshop on Network Monitoring and
Management topics.
Below you will find the URL with detailed information about the contents
of the workshop, including a schedule with the different sessions that
will be held during the week.
PREREQUISITES
-------------
*** REMINDER **************************************************************
* You must bring your own laptop computer, with a WiFi access, to be able *
* to participate in this workshop. *
***************************************************************************
Tablets/touchscreens are usually not adequate as there will be a lot of typing
involved!
As systems/network engineers, we assume you have a good working knowledge of
the command line (UNIX/Linux).
The primary language for the workshop is English, but there are assistants
who can also speak French.
MATERIALS AND SCHEDULE
----------------------
Schedule:
https://nsrc.org/workshops/2016/rwnog-nmm/agenda.html
We will have a local mirror of this site inside the classroom for
fast access to the materials, so it is not necessary for you to
download them before you arrive.
Workshop materials are being updated, therefore don't expect to
see final presentations and labs available until the course starts.
But do note that materials get updated regularly during the week,
it is therefore a good idea to refresh the page before downloading
a presentation, in case a new one has been uploaded.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
---------------------
We will be starting on Monday, after the opening formalities of RwandaNOG.
The schedule runs from 8am to 5pm each day.
INSTRUCTORS
-----------
The list of instructors this coming week:
* Brian Candler (United Kingdom)
* Patrick Okui (Uganda)

MAILING LIST
------------
We will use the mailing list to send out updates, and we encourage you to use
this list if you have questions about the curriculum before, during, and also
